Recuperation measure for children 2006Watzum was the first station of 34 children from Belarus who can recover here now at us during the next 4 weeks from the radiation in their native country. Many interesting program points, accommodated in the Site of leasure and education Asse and on week-ends in families, are waiting for children.The "Chernobyl-Initiative in der Propstei Schöppenstedt" has invited. The charitable association "Hope for the future"/ Minsk has put together the group of children. They come mainly from the area abound Grodno and Mogilev. Before the group with its 3 attendants Ina Urbanovich, Natasha Dudkevich, Inessa Chyrkova and both bus drivers went to the first small tour through our region to Groß Denkte in Falkenheim, at the family Koch in Watzum there was first of all an improvised breakfast, because the group had come on 14.00 o'clock announced, however, already at 8.00 o'clock.
